It has been almost ten years. We met in some goofy little world called The Sims Online. Somehow, we made that joke of a virtual world fun anyway, didn't we? But it was time to move on, and now we're 7 years in SL too. Katia Ixtab, one patient woman. 

 We've role-played, goofed off, had families of..what, 10? Talked until 4 in the morning, missed work because we were too tired from our late nights the day before. Made love thousands of times. Became friends in a bizarre way that other people just don't understand. Here we still are.

It's got to be a virtual world record.
